Hennerton is a members-run club, renowned for its beauty, the welcome that you receive, and the inclusiveness of its membership.
The club is set in some of the most beautiful and tranquil countryside in Berkshire overlooking spectacular views of the Thames Valley. It is easily accessible being 10 minutes’ drive from Henley-on-Thames, Maidenhead and Reading, and 15 minutes’ drive from both the M4 (J8/9) and M40 (J4).
Hennerton was originally opened by Bernard Gallacher in 1992 as a 9-hole parkland course. However after four years of planning and development it was opened in 2006 as an 18 hole course after a sympathetic and clever expansion by the golf course architect Jonathan Gaunt.
This pretty and well-maintained parkland course undulates over mature landscape on well-draining chalky soil. The course may be shorter than most in parts, but it is designed to test and encourage good strategic play onto large contoured greens and from terraced tees. The course will indeed test all standards of golfer from the beginner to the well-honed. There are good practice facilities: a covered floodlit driving range with pop-up tees and a putting green true to the greens. We have two resident PGA-Professionals providing tuition 7-days a week with a pro-shop stocked with all essentials as well as a club-repair service.
The clubhouse is open daily for breakfasts and lunches and with our bar and patio overlooking the beautiful panoramic views of the course and the valleys below, it is the perfect place to relax after play.
We receive visitors and societies every day of the week, although some time restrictions may be in place.
To book your tee time, please call the Pro-shop on 0118 9401000.
We look forward to welcoming you soon.
